Curation Tools
"Digital curation involves maintaining, preserving and adding value to digital research data throughout its lifecycle." (Resource)
There are many different sources in using digital curation. The ones I looked at are only a small sample.
Evernote |
"Evernote is a closed source freemium suite of
software and services, designed for notetaking and archiving. A "note"
can be a piece of formatted text, a full webpage or webpage excerpt, a
photograph, a voice memo, or a handwritten "ink" note. Notes can also
have file attachments." (Resource)

Adding notes to Evernote can be done directly in Evernote or using the Evernote add-on icon. The icon can be used in Firefox or Google Chrome. With the icon, a note can be added without being in Evernote. Just click on the icon when you want to save the current page and it will be saved to your Evernote account.

Pinterest is a great tool for saving, or "pinning", ideas of all kinds. It can be used to get ideas of projects to do around the home or a way to find some awesome recipes. Pinterest is also great to get ideas for the classroom. You can find classroom theme ideas, art projects, or even lesson plans. Pinterest organizes all pins on boards.

Flipboard is a great place to save articles according to topics. You can "explore" articles by categories that are suggested or you can search for more specific topics. If you want to save an article that you like or because you want to read it later, you can save it to a magazine. A magazine allows you to organize articles in groups.
